Applying for a California DMV driver license without a SSN

The DMV website doesn't have complete and in-depth information on how to apply for a driver license without SSN.  To apply, you'll need to create a MyDVM account. However, you won't be able to complete the process without providing a Social Security Number. You have to visit a DMV location to get everything going. Here's a breakdown of the process based on my experience: 1. You don't need to get a decline letter from Social Security Administration saying that you are not eligible for a SSN. Some people said online that that letter is needed. In fact, it is not. 2.  Bring your government ID and two pieces of documents that show your address. For most of the people with SSN, a government ID should be a foreign passport as well as the US visa. Make sure you bring the latest I94 form, which shows you when you last time entered the U. S.
